Kevin McCarthy Joins VRP to Cover Chemicals

I am pleased to announce that Kevin McCarthy has joined Vertical Research Partners as a Partner to cover Chemicals.  Kevin will join VRP Partner Chip Dillon who covers Paper & Packaging as a senior anchor on the Materials side of VRP’s offering.  Kevin will cover commodity and specialty chemical companies, complementing the strong Agriculture franchise at VRP covered by Sandy Klugman.  VRP remains committed to being the pre-eminent research boutique covering Industrials and Materials and we are pleased to add someone of Kevin’s caliber to our team.

Kevin has a long and distinguished career covering the Chemical Industry.  He is a 16-year veteran of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was most recently a Managing Director.  Before leaving BAML last year, Kevin was ranked by Institutional Investor every year since 2006.  He was ranked #1 of 47 chemical industry analysts by Thomson Reuters/Starmine for earnings estimate accuracy in 2015 and in the top 3 every year since 2006.  He was also ranked the #1 Chemical stock picker by the Wall Street Journal  in 2012, 2006 and 2005.
